MISSION & VISION

MISSION: Bridge to Independence, Inc. provides supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless, and/or financially deprived, to empower them to become self-sufficient.
Services are provided to residents from Allegheny County, primarily the Mon Valley.

VISION: By the year 2001, Bridge to Independence, Inc. (BTI) will be known and valued by the community as an integrated service provider committed to its mission.
It will be seen as an organization which enables individuals to achieve personal self worth through education, employment, and other supportive services. BTI will provide these service links by forging collaborative partnerships which utilize all of the appropriate assets for the benefit of those individuals it serves.
