We need your help! Could you…..
 

• Act as a housing advocate (help explain the dynamics of the public & private housing markets); assist with identifying safe, secure housing for the women in our programs?

 
• Give information on landlord/tenant rights and responsibilities?

 
• Work with the women who have legal questions regarding child custody and child support rights?
  
  
• Help us design an educational day program for the children?
  
  
• Be a child care worker? (Teachers & Aides)
  
  
• Create a mentoring program for the children we serve?
  
  
• Teach basic computer skills to our women and older children?
  
  
• Give driving instruction for women trying to get their drivers license?
  
  
• Offer a presentation on basic housecleaning skills?
  
  
• Offer a presentation on cooking and/or nutrition?
  
  
• Give advice on how to dress for work & job interviews?
  
  
• Share knowledge about taking personal responsibility, values and ethics?
  
  
• Teach basic budget skills?
  
  
• Teach arts and crafts?
  
  
• Be a storyteller?
  
  
• Become our Children’s Activities Coordinator?
  
  
• Help expand their self-esteem?
  
  
• Nurture basic life skills?
  
  
• Act as a Welfare Rights Advocate?
